I've always knew #WhatsApp was trash but it's all coming out now: https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/texas-sues-meta-whatsapp-over-encryption-privacy-claims-2026-05-21/ I don't think it will change things in Latin America though. The entire region runs on WhatsApp.

The rainy season has officially begun here in #Nicaragua. Rain overflowed my pool last night, pool guy came in and drained all the excess. Today it rained enough to overflow it again. Fun times in the tropics.

I'm sort of a notebook guy/geek and I love my travelers notebook. So when I saw the 20th anniversary card size edition I had to get it. Of course it was sold out, so I waited until the given date (4/29, 12pm PST), refreshing and refreshing until I could finally add it to my cart. I went to checkout, was in queue, by the time I was able to pay I was told they were out of stock :( Went to eBay and bought it from a reseller for nearly double the price. This little fucker better be worth it...
