Working on a /srv interface for the Plan 9 version of hell for mastodon, makes it easier to interact with posts in the backlog and you can browse pages while the feed scrolls !

kinda becoming intolerant to dependency management I think I&#39;m gonna install OpenBSD instead of updating fedora. I&#39;m just better than a package manager at this I can manage my own installs I don&#39;t need a computer to break them

the sun fire v120&#39;s cpu is only 17W and I&#39;ve removed all the fans including the PSU one and replaced them with a &quot;silent&quot; fan pointing directly at the CPU which is so effective the top of the case doesn&#39;t even get warm silent sparc server ;D

one of these popped up for $25 and I&#39;ve been wanting one for years so I had to do it this is a Dallas Semiconductor ibutton which they have affixed to a ring, they were supposed to be highly durable and potentially purvasive hardware authentication tokens. Par for the course for sun they feature an actual jvm which run applets with can crypographically authentice you.
