Is it normal to be obsessed with a character when you haven't properly read their source material yet? Because I feel this with Surge the Tenrec. She's basically a combination of a bunch of things I find cool. Having her old life stolen from her, being lied to and brainwashed by authority figures, carving her own (presumably) ethically dubious path. Making her traumatic backstory everyone else's problem. Not to mention being partially cybernetic. Makes me think of some of my favori...

This evening, I sent in a report on a community I found on DW that was full of Russian nationalist posting and unabashed racism, which I found while browsing random communities. I sent in a report. About a half hour after I send it, I see that my request has been marked private (not sure why they would do so). Community still up. I really hope none of those Russian nationalists found their way onto Dreamwidth's support team...if my account gets suspended, remember me... #Dreamwidth
