It appears that the Department of Home Affairs has unknowingly committed to protecting us citizens from climate change and oh boy, you people from Durbs better turn down the humidity too! And no exercise or hard work that might result in sweating, nor swimming and walking in the rain, while carrying your ID. Dr's orders! 🤦 #HomeAffairs #SouthAfrica

what's the deal with the Yubikey pop-up when you use NFC? It's highly irritating and on iPhone it seems to interfere with other logins - instead of approving a login, I get the pop-up on the second tap. Is there any way to deactivate the pop-up, short of replacing the Yubikey with a competitor? #Yubikey #Yubikey5nfc #Yubico #iPhone #NFC #enshittification

guys, please make Email and the Web a safer place and implement WKD - Web Key Directory, if you use PGP anyway. It does not take much time and if you already have a website or server, you can just plunk it on there. Implementation: https://www.nicfab.eu/en/posts/wkd2/ Verification: https://miarecki.eu/tools/wkd-checker/ https://www.webkeydirectory.com/ #SouthAfrica #Email #Security #PGP #WebKeyDirectory #WKD

just wondering why Apple would list 'slopdetective.kagi.com' as a restricted website, while trying to install the App for a 9-yr old child. Besides the Family Sharing 'feature' being an absolute nightmare, like the rest of iOS / iPadOS - if you allow the website, you first need to restart your kid's device for the change to work 🤦🤬, like so many other things. #Apple #iOS #iPadOS #iPhone #iPad #FamilySharing #nightmare #disaster #ChildProtection #Parenti...

Just so you know, I’ve noticed a bit of a change with my new batch of coffee coming from Europe. The new batch is a whopping 27% more expensive, while the old ones still available, a different roast that I’m not a fan of, are still at the old price. If you’re enjoying your coffee, maybe it’s a good idea to stock up soon, as there might be some changes coming in the coffee prices. #Coffee #SouthAfrica

@sarahtaber@mastodon.online I can read, just assuming that nearly all foodstuff in the US is contaminated with GM, hormones, antibiotics, birdflu etc. and who knows where your Raspberries originated - you did not mention that. Got to be careful you don't get a copyright or trademark infringement lawsuit, these days. That's why a lot of US foodstuff is largely banned in EU and other parts of the world. @cy
