  We need to call everything by their name. I can't stand when someone is so keen to balance their opinions. I can picture it very vividly how they're tiptoeing around it. The same amount criticism as praise measured on a pharmaceutical scale. I get it, don't be a hater or booster just for the sake of it. Grow some balls and have an opinion! If something is bad it's bad, if something is good it's good. And stand by it, support it with strong evidence. It's really not hard.

  I think many people confuse financial success with being smart. Well while it is often true on the low level (building out a small to middle business out of nothing), on a higher level where people are entirely detached from the underlying business it's completely false. They just have expandable money to get lucky with. That's it.

  The most common misunderstanding I see in privacy focused forums and videos is the mix-up of security, privacy and misunderstanding of open-source in general. Also threat modeling mistakes. I see some people take extreme measures in one way but negating it in another. To resolve this I'm working on an explanatory guide to security and privacy as well as a general "privacy and security recommendation for dummies".

  Why digital privacy matters more than most people think. During communism in Europe people were surveilled. Their letters were opened, their activities monitored but this surveillance didn't invade the private space. This has changed with the digital age. Most of our communication moved to the online space. Even your private conversations mostly happening online. I reckon most people don't realise how much of their communication is digital. It's easy to neglect the online surveill...

  Nothing illustrates better the bubbleness of the AI bubble then the rapid new&newer hype-subjects popping up completely randomly. It's hard to follow. Now it's Kimi and the open source models. But we've seen: GPT5.0, DeepSeek, Mythos, (wide)OpenClaw, Sora, Atlas, Cursor, Claude, Agents. Only Claude and the coding harness sticked. The rest is total BS.

  I dream of a free internet where we can communicate across the globe without constant surveillance and restrictions. I dream of a software without arbitrary restrictions, walled gardens and vendor lock-in. I dream of ownership where digital and physical properties are owned by the users rather than the corporations. Just imagine that! How nice it would be.

  My phone gets really hot when charging or using the GPS. So much so that it melted the adhesive off and the back cover is loose now. I have to keep it in a case to hold it in place.

  The reason I hate mig tech now is that they stopped making the best product they could. Now they only make "good enough" products and that "good enough" is lowered to the bare minimum with walled gardens and user lock-in. Very sad to see this decline. I want the glorious 2010s back when tech was fun.
