    Gary Vee talks about how it’s not the algo and you can change things. On LinkedIn etc. So, after a long dry spell where I actually forgot about adding connections on LinkedIn Premium, I started adding people again. Mainly past UNIQUEWAYS guests. 48 new adds over the last couple days. Coupling that with posting like a human, authentic.. is an interesting experiment.     FF Sitting on the hardwood floors in the library nook and putting pencil to paper is one of my recent joys. With only physical books sitting beside me (no digital) I find myself in a modality where new kinds of brainstorming happen.     I’ve been hearing in the ether that the future is in the physical world - garage sales, craft fairs, farmers markets etc. and so in this spirit I’m heading to Vancouver’s Beaumont Studios to hear a talk by a local Vancouverite named Carson Ting.     Getting my steps in! Queen Elizabeth Park is just steps away from the UNIQUEWAYS podcast recording studio and I’m making a habit of walking up here more often. I feel like Alice when I come up here, in an over-the-top beautiful world that I happened to get plunked into and get to sample from and enjoy.     Evolving AI in my creative process and academic journey has been a continuous cycle of change. I remember starting off with Lensa creating otherworldly portraits of myself, then being in an academic world that emphasized ethics in AI, while still trying to use it for writing and research, then moving into a place now where I sometimes feel like it’s trying to gaslight me! I last talked publicly about this topic on a panel at the Vancouver Convention Centre a few years ago. Glad to have my brain...

    Pecha Kucha as an opener for Design Vancouver Festival was a brilliant choice. 2000+ people gathered in the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver. I haven’t been in that space since Rupi Kaur was here for her World Tour, so good memories.
