  Something about that scene in the most recent Vsauce upload where Michael takes the knife and stabs a package of flour in a giant pile of flour packages and sprinkles the tiny spill of particles from the blade onto the table fills me with profound sadness. Seriously why does that hurt so much.

  If there's anything I really want to do in this tiny little existence it's to make something useful for all the kids out there in the world everyday who are doing the best they can with the tools they have, but will truly soar once they have the tools they need.

  and the time an employer wanted me to install an app on my phone and i was like "oh it has linux i cant get those" and they wrote an auth code on a scrap piece of paper that i entered into a website instead saying no just as a matter of consent is always better, but it certainly helps to have not-google-or-apple as a failsafe
