  I opened this account a while ago and thought I used it only to find no posts? Shades of LiveJournal. Anyway. I'm here. Hope I can find more peevers, BerkMos and other freaks from my past.

  I've decided to take a sketchbook of mine full of goofy ideas and turn it into a manga or a graphic novel and it's really fun to try to do that when I have no fucking idea how professionals do it. Whee!

  Spent yesterday evening looking at photos of people at conference tables and then segueing into looking at photos of military uniforms. Writing manga/comix is definitely a journey. I did do one panel I feel very chuffed about.

  Still working on the manga/graphicnovel/whatever and my characters are introducing themselves to me, one at a time. Yesterday was a Navy recruiter named Danny, day before that was a fiber installer named Chee, and now Lowell wants me to change his name to Russell. No, 'Lo, I'm still naming... hold on... OK, that guy in DC is named Hamilton, after a military base in New York City. Creating a world is weird. I'd be a terribly disorganized god.

  I'm an old lady and go to a senior center. A friend told me they have a watercolor session that's super chill. So, I go and I do watercolors, sometimes of the other attendees. I was so chuffed to get a big broad grin from Yoshi that lit up the whole room when he saw his portrait.
