Finally got the Booti block storage device working on the Apple /// today, and this thing finally feels useful. I’m not sure what it says that it feels like the entire A3 library fits on like one 32mb volume, but that’s what I’m into. #apple #retrocomputing

Fun fact for the, like, 5 of us with a #Commodore CBM-II machine – after trying the SD2PET Future and PetDisk Max V2, I plugged in a SDPET+ to the Commodore B128 today, and not only does CATALOG/DIRECTORY work, but I can actually consistently load software again and again. We have a keeper.

starting to get the urge to build my own "cyberdeck". honestly, all i really want is a psion 5 or nec mobilepro 780 form factor and keyboard with modernish internals. even rpi 4 level internals seems fine to me. i want to find something ready to go, i don't think i am ready to hardware hack.

I love coming across machines that were loved. This obviously started as an original Mac with 128K, but then got a 512K board, 800k upgrade, and then a New Life SCSI and 4mb ram upgrade. This machine was used for at least ten years. #marchintosh
