  Random question: for folks using screen readers, how does the "degree" symbol work? Specifically: ° I'm trying to be better about alt text. Does it work better to say "100 degrees Fahrenheit", or does "100 °F" present the same way? Is "100 deg F" an acceptable abbreviation?   Okay, *this* is a cool piece of kit! Soviet-era nightvision scope, redistributed via Harbor Freight of all places circa 1997-2000. It's pretty old tech, but just needed a fresh 9V battery and it seems to be working (tried it in a dark closet, waiting on it to get dark outside to try it there too).   Finally got my old Pioneer stereo set up! This actually used to belong to my dad; he took it to college with him.   Passenger side suspension on the '96 Dakota is fully disassembled! Asenzi will be welding the front LCA mount again, so I'm hitting everything with degreaser and a fresh coat of rustoleum while I wait. This side should go together *much* faster! I had to do a lot of customization, measurement, testing, etc. on the driver's side, but I made notes and I should have all my parts ready for the passenger side. Probably looking at a long afternoon to get everything together....

  Teamwork! Asenzi welded up my bracket this morning, so I got to put the rest of the suspension together. The torsion bar gave me some trouble (as always) but everything else went together smoothly. I have three nuts left to tighten, four cotter pins to install, and we have to replace the fitting on the body-side brake line.   Was about to brush my teeth when I spotted this absolute unit walking around outside. There are (were) a bunch of young Aspens on that side of the house, which is a favorite snack food for moose.
