    Just finished #reading Thoreau&amp;#39;s &amp;quot;Walden&amp;quot; all the way through for the first time. It was worth persevering with, it&amp;#39;s definitely not as dated as it seemed to me at first- beautiful #nature writing in places, and philosophically both deep and surprising.

    RIP last.fm https://rip.so/last-fm.html (OK, it&amp;#39;s still there, and I still have a page, but it&amp;#39;s really not). It was genuinely exciting while it lasted, and as this site says, nothing has replaced it :(
