Drew Gartner Band. Mesmerizing guitar player. A little Larry Coryell, a little Maggot Brain, a little Mike Bloomfield East - West. Really loose, jazzy band.

If you're 25 years old in America in 2026, your entire adult life has been Trump > Covid > Trump. We're going to hear from this generation soon, big time. Social, cultural, political...everything. I can't wait.

Saw the MJ doc with two Gen Z's I work with. As as a movie...ehh. But it did send me down a Jackson 5 rabbit hole that ended here.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id9807MK3nw

SF positive / negative.. Positive: It's still a city of djinns and deep mystery. It's the ocean air, hills, fog, quakes. The whole Barbary Coast history. It's all still in the air. It's a strange, wonderful place to walk around and get lost in. Negative: I have no idea what kind of jacket you're supposed to wear here. Constantly taking jacket off, putting back on. Very confusing jacket city. #sanfrancisco

Yesterday during the May Day march...the march passes Canal Street where Senegalese guys sell purses, guys who were attacked by ICE a few months ago, guys who are ready to fold up their tarps at a moment's notice, and the march loudly chants at them.. Say it once, say it twice New York doesn't F with ICE (over and over) They were all smiling, chanting along ...beautiful moment 👊
