Ok. Hear me out…. For hairless cats: A thermal suit made of cat hair so they don’t get cold and more importantly, they look like normal cats. I think I need a patent pending!

@timrichards@aus.social you are missing the Rovaniemi to Helsinki leg! Which, midsummer would be a stunner.

Ok. My brain just broke. We just watched an old DVD of the Never Ending Story and realised the “song” (the MAIN theme by Limahl) was not in our DVD version!?! Apparently it was an addition! This is all shades of wrong!!. The movie needs that song!!! No song it’s almost worse than Artax not making out!

Unfortunately. The polarising love/hate for LLM has meant classic ML awesomeness has been sidelined. Popcorn Vision was pre LLM and helped me perfect my popcorn recipe! #machinelearning #computervision #popcorn

Oh.. Telstra fault looks like core network issue! It seems a heap of prefixes (blocks of Telstra network addresses) just got updated through different routes at 3am (i.e. the Internet suddenly realised they can't reach parts of Telstra so there was a mad scramble to find alternate routes!) So probably NOT BGP (this time!), but definitely a big issue on some core routing/signalling infrastructure! #telstra #outage #australia #internet https://stat.ripe.net/widget/bgp-update-activity#w.st...

HOLY CRAP... a RAID (albeit a faux 'SnapRAID') just saved my files! AND it did it in minutes! I have NEVER had a RAID give me anything but grief. EVER I mean in 30 years of running RAIDs, I've never had anything but dead controllers and week long rebuilds that failed! I love you SnapRAID! #selfhosted #selfhosting #snapraid #homelab

This looks fun, a typing game that makes it look like you're hacking in the movies! https://store.steampowered.com/app/3292980/Hacky/ #hacking #games #steam #hacky

I'm glad to be getting the finest legal advice! Maybe this is what I deserve? (Disclaimer: I don't actually begrudge this lawyer, as long as they thoroughly verify the output and can vouch for it as a human. But.... it does make me wonder whether it's good value). #llm #legaltech #ai #aislop #aiResearch #lawyers

The 2001 advert for the 'new Nissan Pulsar' was marketing GOLD! So revolutionary was this car, that the ONLY two call out features in the advert were: Sunglasses holderTakeaway food hooks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEgZebBMyns #nostalgia #advertising #nissan #2000s #australia

I know for most people here, LLM is on the nose as is vibe coding. But a few weekends of vibe coding has gotten me to a very fun place. I have weekly meal prep and planning and shopping down to under 10 minutes comparing prices from multiple stores nutritionally balanced and varied recipes. In about two months of testing, we’ve already saved a couple of hundred dollars. We also have almost 0 food wasted. All operated through a fun text UI which feels like an oldschool BBS #llm #vibecodin...
