  I've been studying Chinese for a bit, and as it came up here that Chinese not using spaces ruins hashtags in sentence (H/T @hongminhee ), and since then I'm trying to find some easy to digest materials on comparing the use of spaces across languages (the Wikipedia article is very brief on the topic with no comparative part) and the word 'space' means too many things for an easy search. are there any linguists who could point me to some sources? #linguistics #as...

  In the last months, my self-hosted #OnlyOffice document-server stopped working on my #NextCloud (both installed as a snap). I thought it was the iOS app and had no time to investigate. Today I found that it is indeed an issue with my document server, that sits behind a reverse proxy (Nginx), and it was working until maybe February. Now, if I go to the URL of the document server directly, I can see the welcome page, but helathcheck returns bad gateway error. Did anyone have a similar problem?

  Hi fellas, does anyone know which brand of TV should I buy if I want to avoid most of the "smort" stuff? I just want to be able to watch YouTube and my Battlestar Galactica DVDs and my own wedding video from a thumb drive as an mp4 file if you catch my drift. I heard Samsung has great picture but its interface is bad and apparently some brands have an interface that itself contains ads? #tv #askfedi #smartTv
