Dear Humans of #Caturday and other internet randos, I’ve already sought professional veterinarian advice multiple times and tried all their recommendations to help Cooper stop barfing up hairballs. Do you know of anything that helps the SuperFluffs? He’s a very picky eater and won’t go near the digestive gels the vet recommends. His prescription food for food sensitivity isn’t doing much. I’d love to hear if you have any suggestions. #CatsOfMastodon

I never get tired of riding the ferries across Puget Sound. I usually stay in my car, and sometimes even get lucky with the view from the car deck. I found this scene looking northward on the Edmonds-Kingston run. #FindARainbowDay #Seattle #PNW #rainbow

...and now back to nature photos... Anna's hummingbird (Calypte anna) in red-flowering currant (Ribes sanguineum). This plant is one of the earliest blooming flowers in the Pacific Northwest, which makes it an important food source for the Anna's hummingbirds that over-winter here and the Rufous hummingbirds that arrive early. Photo captured on a casual stroll through Discovery Park in Seattle. #birds #flowers #spring #PNW #NaturePhotography #ecology

This healthy and handsome robin is finding berries in the privet shrubs in my front yard. Robin is the first bird I ever learned to identify as a very young child. My dad loved birds and eventually taught me just about everything that came to our yard. Robins have always seemed so common, but when looking closely, they are quite a lovely member of the thrush family. #birds #BirdsOfMastodon #NaturePhotography #PNW #Seattle

I wanted to spend my entire day processing my backlog of nature photos, but did the responsible thing of filing our tax return instead. Could not sit at the computer for another minute, so now I’m drinking wine and have a cat on my lap. Feel like I need a bigger reward for so much adulting. Feel free to reply with a medal or participation trophy, pic of your cat/dog/pet, or calming nature photo. Commiseration also welcome. ✌️
