    My website (https://www.rainskit.com/) now works over #IPv6! And boy is my razor dull! - VPS address delegation - registrar glue (via support ticket) - djbdns doesn&amp;#39;t support v6 - djbdns v6-compatible fork won&amp;#39;t install via pkgin with djbdns-run - switch to (and configure) nsd - ditto dnscache -&amp;gt; unbound - configure nginx It works! But apparently @fastmail doesn&amp;#39;t have IPv6 support 😿 https://www.reddit.com/r/fastmail/comments/1nvuho3/ipv6_support/

They made me change my password because mine &amp;quot;wasn&amp;#39;t strong enough&amp;quot;. - How did they know, if they&amp;#39;re storing it salted and hashed?!? - It wasn&amp;#39;t! It was gen&amp;#39;d by 1password, and I had 2FA enabled! - Their web form for changing passwords has UX issues! 2. I got a support reply from an AI telling me they &amp;quot;know about the issue&amp;quot;...

    Something has gone wrong in my life: yesterday I started seriously considering Jira for a small dev team. All the better options I&amp;#39;ve ever used have died; it&amp;#39;s almost like my use of them kills them. And the current alternatives (Linear, Plane, GitHub) have serious flaws for us. (Desktop software dev isn&amp;#39;t the target use case, and I have strong opinions about process, and we have data to migrate.) Jira at least *can* do everything we need, if I beat on it enough.

    As I go through updating hundreds of accounts to &amp;quot;+ addresses&amp;quot; (instead of Qmail&amp;#39;s &amp;quot;- addresses&amp;quot;) I&amp;#39;m struck by how many sites still don&amp;#39;t have 2FA at all, let alone passkey support. Or their 2FA is hard-coded to use text messages. Even sites for money management!

    I really enjoyed Étoile (on Prime). Excellent characters, excellent acting, excellent dancing, and a good bit of fun.     I&amp;#39;m about to start the process of moving this account to hachyderm.io (specifically https://hachyderm.io/@narthur). I&amp;#39;m following the steps at https://fedi.tips/transferring-your-mastodon-account-to-another-server/) so my followers should just come along for the ride. I&amp;#39;ll post again on the other side! Thanks to @FediTips for writing https://fedi.tips/its-a-really-bad-idea-to-join-a-big-server/ which convinced me to do this. (And thanks for the instructions!)
