  Fun fact you may not know, my 15 minutes of fame was 10 years ago. And Stephen’s producer DM’d, asked to use my picture. Sure, and I sent a high resolution version. Watching Colbert live later that evening, it blew my mind to see my face on screen. That was WAY cooler than meeting Taylor at jury duty. #Colbert #colbertlateshow

  I’m so sad. My favorite #nashville haunt, 12 South Taproom is closing. It was the last remaining laid back spot for great food, drinks, and music - the rest of the businesses on 12th sold out or were forced out for tourism ages ago. Thank you for 15 years of laid back hangs with friends and neighbors!   I recently learned about wire wrap connections. They're fast, easy, strong, and make good contact. Developed by Bell Labs for early phone switching, by they 50's it was a standard in electronics, and was later used by Apple and IBM in their early computer prototypes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wire_wrap This seems totally ideal for #diy #electronics projects and prototypes.   Just got back from middle school STEAM night. I did "Analog Synthesis: The Science of Sound" “Learn how electronic music was made before computers, using electrical signals instead of digital technology…” This went so well! I brought a 2600, Grandmother, and an oscilloscope. We did R2-D2 sounds, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Stranger Things, etc. A teacher let me borrow a big DIY subwoofer and we rattled the windows of that 8th grade math classroom! Haha! #steam #synthesizer...
