  I’m getting discouraged by all the crap being shoved down my throat by software and hardware companies. So I am making a personal goal to get active on the radio without using a computer. Toward that goal are two sub-goals. First, upgrade my license to amateur extra. Second, learn and use morse code.

  Is there a PeerTube instance that is focused on amateur radio topics like mastodon.radio is for Mastodon? I’m trying to use FAANG services less these days.

  Finally got around to assembling the PX-16C kit I picked up a few years ago. Sadly the instructions were just a URL in the package. Thankfully, archive.org has saved the page and it wasn’t a complicated build. Though I don’t have any CR2032 batteries handy so power on will have to wait.

  This is a new trend I don’t care for. People are emailing me at work asking for a referral and attaching their resume. Dude, I don’t know you and I barely give out referrals for people I know. We must have worked together, and not just know each other for that to happen.
