I gotta give a very personal speech tomorrow. One of my goals is not to cry. Good thing I'm already crying while preparing 😅 (I'm good, no need to worry <3)

I helped to fix a HTML/CSS issue. No idea what I did, but my usual fix "just add another div" worked. 🙈 PS: Afterwards I gave the code to someone who knows what they are doing and asked them to look at it. Let's see, maybe they have more solutions in their toolbox then "just another div".

As long as my iPhone still things that I usually want to write a different last name then „Otto“ right after the name „Christian“, I won‘t believe in AI.

Wasted an hour this morning because someone thought global state was a good idea. Wasted 20 minutes after that because of how `this` works in JavaScript. That really got me in the right mood to give a workshop on OOP in the afternoon 😅

Just implemented a new class. Few hours later noticed "someone else" implemented a similar class "before". Maybe that someone else was me. And maybe "before" was 2 months ago 🙈 The new class is better, though. (We all know: new is always better!)

OH: "Maybe Ford should have asked people what they wanted" (Context: Cars as a default for transportation suck, and there's that (made up?) quote of Ford which says "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses")

@matthias11_21 then you need faster horses!

I know there's a lot of hate against YAML. But if you ask me, the worst thing is that people can't agree on the file extension (`yml` vs `yaml`), and I always use the wrong one.

I really love TypeScript, but the fact that there is no `catch(SomeError e) {}` makes me really sad 😢

I am really not sure if I'm holding it wrong, but whenever we try to collaborate with a customer using teams, it's a huge pain. It MIGHT be because we're not using Office 365 ourselves, but honestly: I don't care. I've never had anyone complain about "I don't understand how use you slack guest account", but with teams it's nearly always a huge pain. :-( (Don't get me started on Azure Devops.)

Unpopular #react opinion: The only mistake that was worse than throwing redux at todo lists was not throwing redux at everything else. Of course I am not serious, but it's impressive how often I think "this problem would not exist with #redux" or "oh wow, this would be so easy with redux".

Hmm. Hat eigentlich schon jemand der EU vorgeschlagen, den Begriff Steakholder zu verbieten? Nicht, dass die Verbraucher glauben, es handelt sich dabei um einen Koch und am Ende verhungern.
