In love with the latest Ignea song. Nostalgia for a future that didn't come, from Kyiv. Soft vocals, hard drums. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igs7oZpalaA

spent ages getting up the effort to move to a closer doctor, did that last month, or so. was great, much more convenient, and a better doctor. They just announced they're moving - quite far away. hard not to feel like I jinxed it.

Just watched Project Hail Mary. seemed decent enough but I spent the first ten minutes trying to fix my contact lenses before realising it was supposed to look like it was filmed on a potato. Extremely distracting bad focus, shaky, and a couple of long flashing light scenes. So I dunno. Can't really recommend although other folk seem to like it? Couldn't really concentrate on the movie the visuals were so bad. think I'm getting a migraine.

Wondering vaguely what the program code equivalent to that creepy AI girl face is. technically meets all the specified requirements and individually all the bits seem fine, but ..... creepy.

that took far too much effort to work out what time to start paying attention to the potential Artemis launch. NASAs site is full of times but no fecking timezone. space.com provides GMT times but doesn't indicate if that's the same date. Eventually figured it out but aaaargh. (I figure about 11am tomorrow morning NZ time)

That was a good rocket launch. It's a really nice change to watch actual competent people doing competent things.

Went to see "The Magic Faraway Tree" movie purely on the basis that it was my favourite book as a kid. I _really_ enjoyed it. Obviously a kids movie, but full of the wonder and joy I needed. A good antidote for the current tech situation. :)

Notified by intracare that I was in a cyber security breach a couple of weeks ago. That's the *second* medical system I've had my stuff leaked from that I had no real choice about being in. Can we *please* start throwing board members and CEOs in prison for this negligence..

@runoutgroover Probably be effective at stopping people from calling a second time. Someone'll get rewarded for that metric.

Compiling new Nethack. Proper retro (the Makefile, not the game, which is modern)

Just discovered a TV series "Whitstable Pearl" that not only was filmed in the town I used to live in, but the police station is my old house!
