@adfichter @infosec.exchange In how many other countries have you lived so far? I would say we live on top of the cherry on the cake. But yes, we work hard for it and pay for it like few others. Or at least, we get for what we pay: School system: Switzerland often ranks among the top ten globally in certain subjects, especially maths. Switzerland is very clean. Possibly only Japan has cleaner streets. Overall, the country is widely regarded as one of the cleanest in the world. In Switzerla...

ZFS resilvered 767G in 02:25:41 with 0 errors. ...on a Raspberry Pi-4 with attached ICY-BOX (3TB, 4-Disks Mirror) via USB-C, which is my external backup at my parents house. TrueNAS is synching via TailScale VPN. Raspi is booting via USB and has a boot failover via SD-Card. Boot env. &amp; userland is synched everyday to the SD-Card. Heck, this is so fun, creating, and bringing my one ideas to live 😜 And now? A huge PIZZA and then a delicious Espresso from my LaPavoni Machine. Crea...

@dwarmstrong Hi Daniel. Just read your series about ZFS snapshots and backups. Thanks for that nicely structured mini-course. ( Link for others who want to follow it: https://www.dwarmstrong.org/zfs-snapshots/) Here&#39;s a possibel continuation: Doublecheck the backups by creating automatic recoveries and compare them with the original. Maybe a project for a cold winter day? Wish you much fun with your projects. Cheers :)
