    @AlishaBrown I don&amp;#39;t think there&amp;#39;s a easy way to edit it. I think you have to edit the post and remove/re-upload the image to be able to add in the alt-text.

    @isobeltuliptree@weirdo.network agreed! I never know if I should boost, ignore, ask the poster to consider alt texting in the future, or boost and passive aggressively add my own alt text.

    @timbray my thoughts keep turning to this post. You make such an important point about content ownership and rights. SO MUCH of the development needed in the #Fediverse isn&amp;#39;t software.
