At the beginning of the month I made the Type Foundry Directory shuffle all of the entries by default (which will hopefully help designers discover new foundries). And now you can quickly change the sort order by clicking on the sort option next to the Name heading. Oh and shout out to XYZ for being the first TFD nameplate sponsor ✨

Can anyone clarify the relationship between The Type Founders and the foundries they own? Is “own” the correct term here? Do they own different percentages of these foundries? Are they investing funds into these foundries? The Type Founders is also owned by a private equity firm, right? Does anyone remember which one? The organization feels so shrouded in mystery to me and am trying to understand it better.
