@kevin I feel you bud. I have two girls under 7 and honestly I worry everyday about what’s coming. I think a lot of what we can do is be the supportive model of masculinity to help them learn that men don’t have to be shitty and abusive and that they don’t need to settle or accept trash behavior and attitudes.

I didn’t realize that writing and designing a TTRPG solo would have so many process phases. I think this current edit phase is taxonomy but I keep getting distracted and wanting to work on tone? Is this a thing? I have no background as an editor

I’ve been struggling to process my thoughts and reaction. I see a lot of people around me arguing over what happened and how, but most of my thought have been focused on what’s right in front of me. Looking at school board elections coming up. Keeping people out who would ban or burn books. Finding like minded people to network with and to watch out for each other. I’m just writing this here because I don’t really know what else to do with these thought

I’m reading #BrindlewoodBay right now and I am floored by the attention to details in how it’s written. Every paragraph reminds you of something you saw watching a PBS mystery when you were a kid. There is a genuine love of mystery shows in the text.

Spent this week learning the fiddly bits of Affinity Publisher. Been building info boxes and tables, which is way more detailed work than my rough Figma drafts. If you have a preference, please let me know on which table would feel more at home in a national park brochure please let me know
