Council Member Chowdhury has asked that we find ways to inject whimsy into street maintenance projects. We put our thinking caps on and realized that if there's no budget to bring whimsy to Public Works, then we'll just have to bring Public Works to the whimsy. Now that the wildfire smoke is gone, we want your feedback on the Vision Zero pilot program. While the smoke did substantially reduce visibility during the pilot, we are disappointed that it did not, in fact, reach zero. Following up on the pilot program, we have included a number of pro-car, pro-pollution policies in the next draft of our Vision Zero plan.
