  @oppen Similar in the Cairngorms. Post-COVID crowds have been lighting fires/BBQs and littering left, right and centre, and causing massive wildfires (like Scotland's biggest-ever fire on Dave Moor this year). The National Park has now implemented a by-law preventing fires in the warmer months, but of course who's going to enforce it?

  @oppen Sounds about right. At least some of the Cairngorm rangers are paid, but they won't be able to stop the people lighting fires. Only the police can do that... but how many police are going to bother getting all the way into a remote glen to tell someone off?

  @oppen We had no views up Schiehallion today… until we popped out above the inversion. Magical. I doubt this Pictish symbol at the top is original.

  @oppen That sounds a great recommendation. You reminded me of What Can A Body Do? by Sara Hendren, particularly the chapter on architecture in a deaf university.
