Last week I made some contour maps for a friend so they could make some hoodies of where the moose migration happens. Mine turned up in the post today, and now I get to wear a map I made!

Found whilst moving: An elegant tool of a more civilised age. I loved doing detail UI design back in the heyday of mobile apps. Now sadly both redundant tools and a seemingly redundant skill.

Any fellow Liverpool Makefest exhibitors or attendees: Do any of you have any blog posts or pictures from Liverpool Makefest that we could share with the library? Denise, the person who has championed it from the library side until this year has retired, and the new organising crew are trying to pull together some evidence to show that it's A Good Thing to the new library team as we try to gear up for running it next year.
