    #introduction Hi! I&amp;#39;m Nika, an amateur #bass player. I am mostly into 70s #music, prog-rock, psychedelic, but not limited to that.     Random question for the #gearsquad and #Talkbass Do you know of any #bass pedals that simply detect the note you are playing and generate a midi output signal of the played note? I have done a quick search and I don&amp;#39;t find anything similar.

    A couple of weeks ago I asked for advice about recording in our tiny, noisy rehearsal place. I got lots of excellent ideas - thanks to all of you! I ended up recording with 2 microphones into my focusrite. One on the floor facing the drums but away from the kick + close to the bass amp, the other mic at the end of the room. The result was not mindblowing or anything close but still enough to learn… #gearsquad
