iPhoneOS used to automatically apply a glossy shine to app icons. You could opt out of this behavior with a (boolean) plist key: UIPrerenderedIcon. Setting this to true would disable the shine. Technically, this key indicated that the “Icon already includes gloss effects”. We need a UISquircleIcon. And look, if it would help Apple sleep at night, we can say that it indicates the “Icon is already in squircle jail”.

A track dimming out in an Apple Music playlist is just a gentle reminder that you don’t own the music, you’re not even renting it. You’re just paying for the privilege to listen to it, probably.

When an album has a music video as its last track, is there anyway to make Apple Music *not* play it? It is an incredibly annoying feature.

There is something cosmically sad about sitting through an ad as you wait to be rickrolled.

Did you know you can double click a brace in Xcode and it'll jump to the opposing brace? You did? Yeah, so did I. I totally didn't just realise it today haha that would be silly.
