Last month was the 25 year anniversary of the legalisation of equal marriage in the Netherlands. To mark the occasion, the Dutch Central Bank and the Royal Mint have together issued a limited-run €5 coin, designed by Koos Breen (https://www.koosbreen.com) and set in MD Nichrome. I’m grateful to Koos for proactively looking for type made by LGBTQ designers based in the Netherlands, and beyond proud to have played a small role in this immensely meaningful project

Take Back Mokum, a collection of essays, interviews, illustrations and more, around the theme of squatting and housing in Amsterdam. The first (and I hope not the last!) book set in my typeface, MD Lórien.
