@craiggrannell@mastodon.social Still vividly remember when he dropped the preview of Central Park loader. The bit at the beginning was … errrr, what’s that? Then the Sid riff kicked in and holy crap. Hairs stood up. All over. Great times.

@coulrophobia @llamasoft_ox neat but same problem I found many years ago when I rewired an old stick. The Dplugs have those oversized connectors. Used to have to saw the extra anchoring side bits off to allow 2 sticks to be inserted at once.

Full fibre brodband. Here’s the conundrum. Our FTTC syncs at 80 solid and delivers around 68 down. Everything in the house is wireless on an Orbi 5Ghz mesh. Happy with that. So picking an option - ignoring the 75 and 150. I’m torn between 300 and 500. Opinions and experience sharing is welcome.

@llamasoft_ox Assume you’re using the C64 One Load collection for 64 stuff?

Bloody hell. Someone must know why Netgear Orbi mesh systems are so finicky at resyncing satellites? Worked solidly for years and recovered from the odd power cut. But when I found the one satellite was connecting the backhaul at 2.4GHz and took official advice to rectify, I wound up spending 90 minutes jumping through hoops to end up at the desired result. Sigh.

@gilesgoat Watched Heart of Neon Blu Ray the other night. What a great film. Just the right length to get the emotions going. And Giles, you’re making bread analogy. Bloody perfect.

@gilesgoat Quick one Giles. Did you guys ever add a “kill the inertia” toggle to Tempest 4000?
