RE: https://androiddev.social/@marcogom/117205871373332111 And this new "fancy engine" is something I've been working on and off lately. It's Kotlin-based and heavily inspired by defuddle, and optimized for cleaning up pages for reading. I decided to go "custom," so I can improve and change issues easily It's open source and ofc, as a Kotlin library it has to be named with a K ๐Ÿ˜‚ klead: it's a mix of the words "Kotl...

Something that has always bothered me in reading apps was the absence of GitHub gists that were not fetched, so no content while offline. In lots of Medium articles there's gists (not a fan of it, just put the code in a block ๐Ÿ˜) So now readerflow.app has it!

While I'm at #IFA, I'm dispatching some task to Codex at home to test GPT Astra. So far it's very fast compared to Sol! I dispatched 2/3 task and by the time I put the phone in my pocket the first ones started already to finish ๐Ÿƒ

Just pushed a small update to HTML Shelf, my Obsidian plugin to browse and read HTML I've added a button to refresh the page when things change while reading the file. Just because I was tired of closing the file and reopening it ๐Ÿ˜…

The new update of difftray.app is out on macOS and mobile, and it's juicy! Open several folders at once, add a folder to scan for repos, and open projects and worktrees from desktop or mobile. Here's a quick video tour of the changes:

There are also some other smaller things in the new difftray.app update: โ€ข Open files in your editor or Finder from the file menu โ€ข Save comments with Cmd/Ctrl + Enter โ€ข Copy worktree paths on desktop and mobile โ€ข See commit details on hover

PomoStats is a client for App Store Connect, so it could be tricky for Play Store review ๐Ÿ˜… I've solved it with a "demo view" that can be triggered during onboarding. It can also be useful for people to explore the app first without signing in with the API key #Shipaton #BuildInPublic

For the monetization plan of pomostats.app (my app for #Shipaton ), I've decided to allow one app for free: with one app, you can get a sense of the product. If you are a hobbyist with just one app for fun, you can use it for free. If you are a professional with multiple apps and want to track them all, then you need a Premium Plan ๐Ÿค‘ Since it's targeting professionals, I went with a yearly subscription and a lifetime purchase. Any thoughts about it? #BuildInPublic

Had fun creating a small presentation video for pomostats.app for #Shipaton. #BuildInPublic It reminded me of the "glorious" days when I was doing phone and tech gadget video reviews ๐Ÿ˜… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4ePSTCQ7Us

I've done some back and forth with Astra and I've fixed and improved some corner cases and missed things of the cloud sync system of FeedFlow. Now it should be more solid! The next release will have those improvements.

The new readerflow.app update brings a CLI on the macOS desktop app! So, you can give it to your agents and handle your library with that. Open a random article or ask your agent to find an article about something, and you can directly open it in the app with a deeplink!

A sneak peek of the next @feedflowapp update. I've fully focused on desktop and made it a good citizen, not a mobile clone. 3 pane layout, submenus on windows, a proper settings view, context menu that opens when you click, and more. I'm very happy of the work!

New release for RSS-Parser Apparently, I was setting every `media:content` as an image, which made FeedFlow try to load anything (zip, whatever) as an image ๐Ÿ˜… Thanks, and sorry to the user who had a lot of data usage because of that ๐Ÿ˜‡ https://github.com/prof18/RSS-Parser/releases/tag/6.1.5

Idk what's the matter, but the quality of service of Uber Eats in Berlin has become super bad in past couple of months Every order 30+ minutes late, cold food, a couple of orders in a row "You're order is ready but we can't find a rider". Bye, not anymore.

It's "surprising" how you get a 1/2 star review saying "things don't work" without any real feedback. Then you ask for more details, and the review magically disappears ๐Ÿ˜… It happened already 3/4 times I guess it's just easy to shout without effort.

After adding yet another setting on FeedFlow, I've realized that I've been falling into the pattern of adding unnecessary icons (hello Tahoe ๐Ÿซฃ) that don't add any value. So no icons anymore on the next release.
