Happy #BandcampFriday ! Are *you* a "Modern Primate"? Then check out the latest release as my neo electronic alias Criminally Shy "Music For The Modern Primate". It's a short and fun 5 song release. It sounds a bit like a "cosmic gumbo" of 90s electronica and late 70s to mid 80s synthpop and electro. I really like this release a lot and have been looking forward to sharing it. It's not too serious, but not too irreverent either. https://anidealforliving.b...

(Reposting on new account for #BandcampFriday ) "the embryo transmissions" remaster is up! featuring new artwork as well. the version of "womb envy" on it has been amended to say "(original version)" to differentiate it from the second, definitive version on the "Present" e.p.. a compilation of songs from 2015-2016 before I ended up putting itwotu on hiatus until 2020. it's the beginnings of the project. https://inthewomb.bandcamp.com/album/the-embr...

(Reposting on new account for #BandcampFriday ) It’s out! “Searching For Sunrise” is my debut full length release as In The Womb Of The Universe. It’s a loose concept album with the general theme of mental health recovery and trying to heal. It’s arty synthpop indebted electronic rock that sometimes is groovy and other times a little proggy. Check it out! (Adding: recently remastered for improved sound and dynamic range!) https://inthewomb.bandcamp.com/album/searching-for-sunrise #Electro...

(Reposting on new account) #BandcampFriday Don't forget to check the first new album as my neo-electronic project Criminally Shy is over a decade. From the bandcamp: "It's kind of a concept album, but also not really. A lot of the songs are a reflection of the current times in both the United States and the world (as in "morally corrupt"). Other songs have parts that were intentionally treated in a way to reflect the concept of the sound literally being corrupted. Whil...

(Reposting on new account for #BandcampFriday ) It's finally out!!! "Something's Gotta Grow" is my second full length album as In The Womb Of The Universe. I've been calling it my "she's gone mad album" (a reference to how Kate Bush described "The Dreaming") considering it's darker and more experimental overall than most of my previous catalog. It's interesting that it features some of the most accessible work I've ever done as well as...
