Android: Phone is in bedtime mode, only important calls can reach you! Me: How do I set a contact as important? Android: Oh sorry, you can&#39;t. You can set them as favorites and you have to Google to find out if that is the same thing as important. You can also set a contact as a VIP, which, you know, sounds like it should be the thing given that the I stands for important and the P stands for person, but that&#39;s a completely different thing probably. Grabbed my DSLR to do some street photography on my way home. Great idea in theory. The problem is I feel super awkward and creepy every time there&#39;s a stranger in my viewfinder. I panic and point the camera somewhere else. Which doesn&#39;t make for great street photography, where capturing people is the entire point. 🤦 #photography #StreetPhotography

Oof. I just realized my monthly bills will probably increase with at least €500 within the next couple of years. At least €200 in student loan payments effective immediately when I get a salary, and probably €300 or more in increased rent after the renovation. All of a sudden my calculations for what kind of salary I need is completely out the window and I don't know how I'll make this work. 😐

Youtube is so weird. I'm in my subscriptions, and the prime real-estate at the top of the page is dedicated to an arbitrary selection of videos from my subscriptions, called "Most relevant". Most relevant to what? All my subscriptions are most relevant to me, otherwise I unsubscribe. Stop trying to algorithm me you dirty capitalist pigs.

The YouTube algorithm did something strange and unpredictable that I kind of liked, even though I&#39;m very much not interested in the video in question (didn&#39;t click it, but hovering you get a silent preview with subtitles). In my Home feed it recommend a one day old video with only 9 views, about a topic I never watch. 9 views. I think that&#39;s pretty cool. #YouTube

Separation of church and state is a given in civilized countries. Separation of business and state should be the same. In a democracy humans vote, not corporations. Hence the state should work for us. Corporations should have to live with the fact that they exist in a society where humans take priority over business, and where the only response to the corporate whining is: tough shit.
