  #IRC server https://irc.linux.lt/ was upgraded to #UnrealIRCd version 6.2.3. In the meantime, test environment runs 6.2.4. I maintain few stable releases as container images at https://quay.io/repository/kareiva/unrealircd?tab=tags Those images have certbot support (for macvlan) and are based on #CentOS Stream (because it's always nice to see good security scan results) Slowly dropping support for .deb based distros - if anyone would like, 'd be happy to undo this.

  One of the dumbest comments I saw online recently: "I’ve been campaigning for a few years now to ditch Red Hat at work and slowly work to replace it with something like Rocky, Alma or even SuSE." Alma is a CentOS downstream, Rocky is literally breastfed by RHEL and SUSE is doing a hard RHEL fork. In what world is that a "ditch"? Maybe try Slackware Linux instead.

  No, I somehow don't have sleep problems with #Fedora. This Thinkpad was on 14% battery when I closed the lid after lunch and it woke up around 9pm to exactly the same 14%.

  #Cardputer ADV has a nice SSH client with many terminal capabilities, although the `screen` utility seems to be glitching at times during screen redraw. But irssi works just fine.
