might be weird but I wish I could just, send a patch to a specific mail of a git hosting platform and that it would auto convert it into a pull request like it seems so much nicer to my brain i dunno why

honestly I believe that haskell and ocaml are dating but that ocaml is just the rebel girl getting haskell to break the rules of her normally very well behaved manners then they kiss

one thing that I like about git via mail is the fact that requesting changes is non destructive, like u can't push your code to main ,sending patch files make it so that u can't accidently change things remote that shoulnd't be changed, which I think is RLY nice...

Honestly one of the many reasons why I like emacs so much is because of how malleable it is as a peice of software, like practically every weird setup is possible and it never feels like the editor is fighting hard against you an example of something you can do is using Local Variables to evaluate lisp code upon entering a file (you get prompted to every time), for example, say I have a script but I need to set a specific env variable, I can just do the following # Local Variables: # eval: (se...

lisps are so odd, on one side they are so neat and anytime I want something to write a gui or a extention language I always prefer using a lisp over other options (both from an end user for extention languages and as an implementor) but I honestly don't think I could write a large, full application in lisp. Maybe I should try it out to see what I am missing but wehh

hmm, it's kinda weird, I feel like so much tech content is just made for people who just like seeing fancy tech thing but almost none for people who actually are interested in other, more techinical topics. it's like, I see a video about linux and it's always some "this NEW LINUX DISTRO is the GOAT at GAMING" and I just cringe so hard,,, it's at a point where I feel like reading is getting more and more enjoyable just cause it isn't trying to grab your attention...

hmm,, I can't decide, I want to do some ricing but at the same time I kinda wanna stay with my setup which doesn't even have a bar or anything like that most things feel just a little too overwhelming?
