I recommended the Hugo static site generator today based on just what I read on their homepage and decided to give a demo how easy it is to use it without any preparation. oh how quickly my arrogance was destroyed and I was humiliated. It&#39;s not that Hugo is not easy, it&#39;s just that I totally tried to vibe it instead of just following the docs and doing some proper learning. I felt so stupid for going this way. So now I have a new technology to learn. It&#39;s exciting.

After I spent several hours setting up a Ubuntu with the packages I want as a docker image locally and running it in docker desktop as a VM playground, and sharing some files and ports between the host and the container, I can see why people enjoy working as DevOps. It&#39;s a cool job.
