Today's tiny little humor... opposing party counsel should be able to correctly spell their represented party's name? You would think... But that just illustrates their own incompetence.

Today I learned that what jurisdiction you live in influences a lot of what remedies you could hope for if you are the victim of online fraud. Some jurisdictions have people who know how to handle it. Some don't. If local law enforcement just kind of shrugs their shoulders with regards to your request then you have no remedy outside of hiring an expensive lawyer to do the trace.

@0x0ddc0ffee @Natasha_Jay I would LOVE to see the resultant shareholder suit over an AI board. There's a long list of duties they are required to perform. Seeing, for example, how the courts would deal with the duty of care or the business judgement rule. OK, the business judgement rule may be handled better by the AI, but... a shareholder would still have them on the duty of care.

@0x0ddc0ffee I don't suppose drifting to absurditum is something that is common outside the legal profession. This is obviously a very straw man, but answering those kinds of dumb questions keeps people sharp. Sorry to have disturbed!
