I went to Aldis today, and on my way out this older dude is fighting with a cart. He doesn't understand how the coin lock works, so I stop for a sec to help him out. And as he starts pulling it away, he goes "Thank God for women, I'll tell ya. A man would have walked on by and laughed at me." I am full boy moding today, my face looks terrible because I just had my laser session yesterday, and I'm dressed in the same clothes I used to wear as a dude. AAAAAAaaaaaasojdhbuas...

Really glad I have a therapist appointment coming up this week. Annoyed that I have to re-do intake with her because she moved practices, but this last weekend has given me a LOT to think about w/r/t gender presentation and internalized shit. Not entirely ready to be super open about this as I'm still sorting wheat from chaff, but I experimented at Anthrocon this year by dressing almost entirely fem, both at the con and in public and I... didn't hate it.
