#throwbackthursday Reflections on the five-year anniversary of my first trip to #Alaska ! A thread Five years ago today, I hopped off a plane in #Juneau , Alaska, and started to rediscover a part of myself I had long forgotten. Back in July of 2021, I was a fresh-faced 26-year-old flying nearly 4,000 miles across the continent to visit my long-distance boyfriend for the first time. I had no idea just how much those ten days would change my life. #hiking #hikingadventures #nature #naturepho...

For #waterfallwednesday here's Blackwater Falls in the Allegheny mountains of West Virginia. The falls gets its name from the light brown/tea colored water. The abundant spruce and pine trees drop their needles into the river, and all of the tannins in the needles dye the water brown. #nature #hiking #waterfall #naturephotography
