I took a nap for three days. Shrank and expanded a partition. Feeling cute. Might install PureOS on something later.

I wonder how many people discovered GnuOS the last week or two, and who looked at the project a little differently. A proper nik of the beat, I'd done the academic driveby in preinstall survey, and again when I started talking to other people about The Hobby, and sharing my notes and linklists.

Ok, it's slightly past time to migrate any of my fedi accounts that still report to a gmail address to something else. Unfortuantely, my disroot account bounches sometimes, but freemium services like proton and tuta seem to work. my security super-accessible freemium (there teirs are at natural cutoffs, and priced like. actually reasonably and accessibly) We're being challenged on security more often, but also I don't feel well shackled to freemium and their little popu...

Guess I'll plug this #KDE liveusb into a computer tomorrow when it has time to dry out. #gnunerd at the #camping thing. (the pocket knife doesn't mind so much) (mostly sleeping and beach reading, but guess when happens when someone sounds ready to jump ship from windows, google, or meta?)

Really excited I found a good usecase for #LMDE #linuxmintdebianedition after reviewing the basics a while back. After a weekend of felixing about with the media service machines, #LMDE6 came out as a fast and cozystable main OS on the little testbox. The unexpected reward was a working jellyfin install after a rollback to #MintVirginia on the driveshost tower. You know. By The Power of Three Tutorials Combined... I infuse this subfork... with hopefully the right dependencies...

It might be a learning curve to find a fediverse like mastadon server to start an account on, or get comfortable on but... finding some really nice fit servers eventually..? Amazing. Managing expectations and keeping an eye on news feeds for projects in personal care circles is just smart hygiene, of course.

WOW I just clicked on a site map for a professional website that has no CSS styling... I'm going to assume it's just a newish site but WOW. (I'm grabbing for site map because the layout organized like a shopping cart instead of an information center and there are a ton of key menu items missing...)

Jellyfin forced me into file renaming, but seems so prone to snag. My kodi installs are starting to look really amooth though. I might end up using jellyfin primarily for books, audiobooks, and music.
