Initial port of OpenBSD's iwm(4) driver to #illumos (tested on a Thinkpad X260 running OmniTribblix). WPA2+CCMP work ongoing. Packet loss has been observed so it's not ready for use yet, just wanted to let it be known that some work has been started! Patch pre-release: https://github.com/lex0de/illumos-iwm/releases/tag/iwm-wpa2-pre-1 Tree: https://github.com/lex0de/illumos-iwm/tree/iwm-x260 #Tribblix #OpenIndiana

Love a desktop with a front vent blowing warm computer air on you (not so much in the summer!)... Somewhat unrelated, does anyone else disable all kinds of visual effects on Windows 98/2000/XP/etc and that repulsive Windows XP theme automatically? I hated it then and I hated it now - don't even think about it, my hands automatically make everything look like an early Windows Server (or NT4) desktop q_q #retrocomputing
