  Folks here in southwest Manitoba complaining about 30 degrees and hiding indoors with AC cranked. Meanwhile Algerians are like, "Hold my mazagran" because it's 50 degrees there. 10 of the 15 hottest places in the world today are in Algeria

  Kind of an insane longshot but what the heck... Manitoba Habitat Conservancy is hosting a VERY limited tour of Pat Healey's properties in the Tiger Mountains/Prairie Lakes area. I think only 8 spots are left. Healey was a scientist, naturalist and gardener who left his land to MHC. He threaded gardens through a wonderfully conserved forest just a few kilometres east of Pelican Lake. #westman #Manitoba #conservation
