@jnl Back in the 1970s, the family received an apology note from some cousins we had no idea existed. Back in the 1840s, our ancestors moved to a neighboring state. After the father died, the oldest two siblings sued the mother and younger siblings for the farm. Since the mother was a German Baptist who refused to defend herself in court, they lost and moved back to where the family is today.
