  So great to ignore random market trends until it's old news: two years after it happened I now learned that Google stopped selling the Chromecast. I was asked by family if I could get them another one. Well we don't want a Google TV streamer so the answer is nope. As @mainframed767@infosec.exchange and others warned, don't commit to #google products. They'll eventually abandon or "at best" deprecate whatever product or service you were enjoying.

  Weird, took GO Transit to the #CNE and tapped on and off to ensure I was charged the correct fare. On the way home the balance on my #Presto card was much lower than expected when tapping off. Checked the transaction history. Despite tapping on and off successfully the system later said, 'nah, maybe you didn't tap off" and added on the maximum distance charge. Bizarre! Filled out the webform asking for a refund of the difference. I do wonder if the station attend...

  I feel the need to slag some of the stupidest #WorldCup commercials I'll avoid naming the guilty parties because bad publicity is still free publicity. Though I may change my mind on that position. The first insanity is the car commercial where they claim they tested the cars by having soccer fans abuse them. Not buying it. They would've flipped your stupid gas guzzler if they wanted to.
