Having a colossal peripheral (in function and register count, it’s an EMAC) and finally getting done some things feels so good. Like at the start of writing this driver I though I don’t understand shit of what happens in there, but I just continued throwing shit at the wall and slowly stuff is sticking, even got my first 4 packages received (don’t have a bigger buffer and not using them further yet, have to rework some things for that; preempt fun) #unifree

Why have local git branches (depending on what I work on). Just being in detached HEAD sometimes feels so much easier (if not all tooling would cry about it because oh noo detatched head)

Ahhh, the need for proper tools at home, but just no resources to get them. Like a proper oszi/LA, pcbites and something to magnify. Wanted to write code yesterday but as I do platform bring up just wasn’t able to :(

I'm starting to see more stuff as not abstract and IP is happening, but in the serdes electrical signals way. and it's not helping for confusion in what the professor at uni is talking about :)
