Yesterday afternoon i collected out car from the mechanic. I managed to get home (including a shopping detour) without realising they had left a chunk of car... In the car. Does explain what that shifting noise coming from the neck seat was...

Turns out the reason #incusos was broken and unusable was actually quite simple: in my illness fog last week I missed the last two install steps. Looking much more promising now.
