I talked about it a bit last week, and I'm happy to announce that the latest features to drop in TempusGameIt are tracking of session "source" and "execution environment". Source is how the game was located—Steam, a folder, GoG, Epic Launcher, etc. Execution environment is fixed now to “local” but that won't stop us from pushing onwards toward GeForceNow support and SteamDeck support. I fixed that annoying bug in #TempusGameIt where, when scanning, the progress bar would actually go backwards at points. No more going back in time now; the bar should now move continuously from the left to the right.

Taking inspiration from different game launchers to brainstorm a new view for game details in the #TempusGameIt client. I think the current design falls a bit short. This was most noticeable when talking about publishing screenshots. It seemed like this feature wasn&#39;t very well known, which I blame on bad UI.

Hello all #TempusGameIt users! Recently we hardened the authentication flow resulting in a more secure experience for you. Part of this effort lead to changes on the client that need your action. We will be deprecating the older, less secure flow on the first Monday in September. What should you do between now and then? It's very simple! 1. Keeping our foot on the gas around screenshots! I've wanted this for a while now, and with the redesign around screenshots on the rest of the site, it made the site-wide screenshot page an easy lift. #TempusGameIt screenshots are getting a big glow up! I've disliked the display design for a while, so I decided it needed a fresh look. Also included, you can now delete screenshots as well, so if you accidentally took a pic in game of an embarrassing fail you can now delete it! Where did the weekend go?! Drove an hour each way for a birthday party yesterday and today spent most of it at the local water park. And then slept it off. And now it is time to wrap up Sunday and I don’t know what happened to time.

#TurbulentTimeways is up in #WorldOfWarcraft and I may have binged a little bit yesterday. It&#39;s always nice to get a new set of dungeons in the Timewalking rotation and was fun to revisit some of the Dragonflight ones. Leveling my troll priest to 90. We hit 85 last night. Why not level another priest separate from my Lightforged that is already 90? Different faction, different server, different guild I suppose. :)

May or may not have seen #EverQuestLegends added to #TempusGameIt. I do notice that they use the same executable as #EverQuest--mainly `eqgame.exe` which should be fine, but will now probably prompt review hits when scanning. I've lately enforced a zero tolerance policy in #LOTRO for people filling world chat with lyrics from songs from the 80s and earlier. Reciting Queen lyrics? Ignored. Reciting Eagles lyrics? Ignored. If I wanted to see that, I'd open spotify.

Lots of feels on the passing of Ted Turner. I watched Hawks games on TBS as a kid in the 80s and early 90s and then through random chance, ended up working at Turner Broadcasting for 15 years. I met my wife there. Worked out in the basement of the Mansion (the brick building with the columns you’ll see in the all pictures). Ordered a Ted’s Montana Grill veggie burger the night my wife and I moved into our first home together. RIP Ted. You directly shaped my life.

Tom Petty & the Heartbreaker's “Hard Promises" is 45 years old today. I'm still bummed that he is gone. Seems like one of those too soon situations. I saw him in concert at the ODome in Gainesville FL when I was in college (looks like it was Nov 4 1993). The seats were great, and it was essentially a homecoming performance for him, given that he was born and raised there.

Played about 90 mintues of #VanguardSOH yesterday over on the in-progress emulator. It was pretty awesome questing around Khal, and then taking a break to work on leveling up Artificer. I recreated my cleric to do all this, and it just felt “right”. I wish the game would've survived and that it wasn't the jumbled mess it was in the code.
