So #Fediverse, I&#39;ve got an issue. I&#39;m not sure if it&#39;s a #Mastodon thing, or if it&#39;s unique to the Moshidon Android app. But, I *want* push notifications. So, now that sculpting #miniatures has effectively moved to #3d formats and everyone seems to be #3dPrinting them now, are metal minis still being made? Is anyone using this 3d technology to, in the end, make metal minis at all? Or is there a feasibility aspect I&#39;m not taking into account? I ask because, well, I kinda hate resin. I got this #SpaceMarine Infernus model from the FLGS some time last year, they had a pile of them left over from a paint and take night. I wanted to put off assembling this box of Zoanthropes (not a new purchase) until *after* I finished painting my Hyperadapted Raveners, but motivation to do so has left the building. There&#39;s something melancholic about finishing the assembly of a box of minis. Like finishing a good book you didn&#39;t want to end. This is my favourite stage of the hobby. It&#39;s like a puzzle, but I get to give the assembly instructions the bird if I want to put arm 16 on the model instead of arm 18. And I giggle a little to myself when I do.
