The mothers headstone says; died of a broken heart. I believe it. It's so incredibly frustrating to see where this goes and the trauma its going to inflict.

Potas makes some incredibly misguided assumptions of who is responsible for any of the subjects he apparently has an opinion on.

Except there is satellite coverage in nearly 100% of those areas. Those satellites already exist. In the 1990s I was using GPS to map vegetation in my job, rarely did I not get at least one satellite. Coverage is dependent on orbital routes of the satellites, not the number of them.

  @QasimRashid@mastodon.social All of these laws 'regulating' women's behavior is highly paternalistic. I'd go so far as to call it; stalker'ish. They are literally signaling that women do not know themselves and need to be controlled. Which, as a woman, pisses me off to no end.

  @davidho.bsky.social As an environemental scientist it is a weird comment to think that a piece of land that can't grow crops can simply be used for livestock. It is being used by wildlife...it could be an important watershed that would degrade if livestock were premitted. It could be important for timber management.
